The Story Behind VitalLine Infusions

Hi, I'm Lachy, the founder of VitalLine Infusions and a Critical Care Paramedic.

I've spent my career working in healthcare, caring for people on some of their hardest days. Working in critical care has taught me a lot about health, but it has also made me appreciate something that can sometimes get overlooked - the importance of looking after ourselves before we reach the point where we're completely running on empty.

Like so many people, I know what it's like to juggle a busy career, shift work, family life and everything else that comes with everyday life. Long hours, disrupted sleep, stress and constantly putting other people first can take their toll. In healthcare and other demanding professions especially, we can become very good at looking after everyone else while quietly putting our own wellbeing further and further down the list.

That experience was a big part of why I started VitalLine Infusions.

I wanted to create something that made taking time for your wellbeing easier - a service that felt professional and clinically responsible, but also personal, approachable and genuinely focused on the individual.

Why VitalLine Infusions?

VitalLine Infusions was created to bring a high standard of clinical care into the wellness space.

My background as a Critical Care Paramedic means safety, assessment and good clinical decision-making are incredibly important to me. I didn't want VitalLine Infusions to simply be about turning up and connecting someone to an IV line. I wanted to build a service where people feel listened to, where their individual circumstances are considered, and where there is appropriate clinical oversight behind the care we provide.

We offer a range of IV infusion services designed to support hydration and general wellbeing, delivered by experienced healthcare professionals in a relaxed and personalised environment.

Every client starts with appropriate screening and assessment to make sure the service is suitable for them. Our care is supported by established clinical protocols and medical oversight, and if we don't believe an infusion is appropriate for someone, we'll always be upfront about that.

For me, that clinical foundation is an important part of what makes VitalLine Infusions different.

Wellness That Fits Around Real Life

I also wanted VitalLine Infusions to work around people's lives - not the other way around.

Sometimes finding time to look after yourself is half the challenge. That's why we've built VitalLine Infusions to offer a flexible and convenient service, including mobile appointments where appropriate, bringing professional care closer to you.

Whether you're someone navigating a demanding work schedule, a busy parent who rarely gets time for yourself, an athlete balancing training and recovery, or simply someone wanting to be more intentional about your wellbeing, the idea behind VitalLine Infusions is the same:

To give you the space to stop, recharge and invest some time back into yourself.

VitalLine Infusions isn't about promising miracle fixes or replacing good nutrition, sleep, exercise or appropriate medical care. It's about providing another option within a broader approach to looking after yourself - delivered responsibly, professionally and with genuine care.

I'm incredibly proud of what VitalLine Infusions is becoming. My goal is to continue building a service that people across Waikato can trust - one that combines the clinical standards I've carried throughout my career with a warmer, more personal approach to wellness.

Because sometimes, when life gets busy, looking after yourself is the first thing to fall off the list.

VitalLine Infusions was created to help make putting yourself back on that list a little easier.
