Vitamin C, antioxidants and immune support
3 December 2025 · 4 min read
Vitamin C is probably the most famous vitamin of all, with a long-standing reputation for supporting the immune system. Let us look at what it actually does — and where the sensible limits of those claims lie.
What vitamin C contributes to
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system, helps protect cells from oxidative stress as an antioxidant, and supports normal collagen formation for healthy skin, blood vessels and connective tissue.

- Helping to reduce tiredness and fatigue
A realistic view
Supporting normal immune function is not the same as preventing or curing colds, flu or any infection. Vitamin C is one helpful piece of a much bigger picture that includes sleep, nutrition, movement and managing stress. We are careful never to overstate what a drip can do.
Vitamin C in our blends
Some of our drips include vitamin C alongside fluids and other nutrients as general wellness support. If you are feeling unwell or run-down in a way that worries you, please see your GP rather than relying on a wellness infusion.
